Swimming

 

The beach in Nha Trang must be one of the most perfect beaches in all of Southeast Asia. Ranked as the best beach in Vietnam it is ideal for safe swimming and snorkeling. The sea here is clear, calm and clean, a pristine beach simply adds to the magic of the place. Abundant sea life makes for excellent snorkeling.

 

Just off the coast from Nha Trang is the island of Vinh Nguyen, it is here that the renown Vinpearl golf course and family resort is to be found. The swimming on the resort island is terrific; children will especially love the water park. For more experience swimmers the whole area around this island is an amazing place to explore. To the south of Vinh Nguyen you will find what is known as the Four islands. Hon Mieu, Hon Tam, Hon Mot and Hon Mun are strung out in a line to the south of Ving Nguyen. They afford swimmers and snorkelers the most amazing opportunities.

 

Rocky inlets, crystal clear water and water based caves are all awaiting to be explored. The whole area is teaming with sea life and the snorkeling and swimming just doesn’t get any better than this. The water is warm all year round and weather conditions never get too bad in this part of the world. The sandy beaches are perfect for relaxing and simply walking into the sea when it gets too hot to handle. The rocky based inlets are safe and make for totally clear snorkeling conditions.

 

Canoeing and Kayaking in Nha Trang

 

Holiday makers come here in large numbers to swim, snorkel relax and take part in one of the many water sports that have developed over the years. Canoeing and Kayaking are two such activities. Many companies are offering both short canoe or kayak trips and more professional coaching in these exciting sea sports. The sea conditions here are perfect, clear calm waters that are safe and enjoyable.

 

Parascending in Nha Trang

 

Parascending has become increasingly popular throughout the world over the last couple of decades and Nha Trang is no different. Floating high in the sky underneath a gaily painter parachute whilst being towed along by a speed boat, gives the rider that all important adrenaline rush and superb views of this delightful town. The riders go up in a tandem a trainer. It is a scene that is seen more and more as young people try this once tiny minority sport.

 

There cannot be many places on earth where parascenders enjoy such perfect views. The richness of the scenic beauty here is immeasurable. Rolling hills to the west, golden beaches and the sea front immediately below and the perfect, picture postcard Blue Ocean as far as the eye can see to the east and the Philippines that lie some 600 miles away. This is a paradise and one in which, the relatively new activity of parascending seems perfectly at home. For as exciting as this sport is, nothing is quite as exciting as nature when she gets her act so perfectly together.
