Nha Trang like the Cai River where you can observer the locals that call the
riverbank their home going about their daily lives.
Cycling in the Countryside
Nha Trang is more than just the
hustle and bustle of the city center. As they say, if you want to really delve
deep into the place’s culture, go to the countryside. This is best done by
taking a cycle around Nha Trang’s country trails.
Swimming
The beach in Nha Trang must be one
of the most perfect beaches in all of Southeast Asia. Ranked as the best beach
in Vietnam it is ideal for safe swimming and snorkeling. The sea here is clear,
calm and clean, a pristine beach simply adds to the magic of the place.
Abundant sea life makes for excellent snorkeling.
Just off the coast from Nha Trang
is the island of Vinh Nguyen, it is here that the renown Vinpearl golf course
and family resort is to be found. The swimming on the resort island is
terrific; children will especially love the water park. For more experience
swimmers the whole area around this island is an amazing place to explore. To
the south of Vinh Nguyen you will find what is known as the Four islands. Hon
Mieu, Hon Tam, Hon Mot and Hon Mun are strung out in a line to the south of
Ving Nguyen. They afford swimmers and snorkelers the most amazing
opportunities.
Rocky inlets, crystal clear water
and water based caves are all awaiting to be explored. The whole area is
teaming with sea life and the snorkeling and swimming just doesn’t get any
better than this. The water is warm all year round and weather conditions never
get too bad in this part of the world. The sandy beaches are perfect for
relaxing and simply walking into the sea when it gets too hot to handle. The
rocky based inlets are safe and make for totally clear snorkeling conditions.
Canoeing and Kayaking in Nha Trang
Holiday makers come here in large
numbers to swim, snorkel relax and take part in one of the many water sports
that have developed over the years. Canoeing and Kayaking are two such
activities. Many companies are offering both short canoe or kayak trips and
more professional coaching in these exciting sea sports. The sea conditions
here are perfect, clear calm waters that are safe and enjoyable.
Parascending in Nha Trang
Parascending has become
increasingly popular throughout the world over the last couple of decades and
Nha Trang is no different. Floating high in the sky underneath a gaily painter
parachute whilst being towed along by a speed boat, gives the rider that all
important adrenaline rush and superb views of this delightful town. The riders
go up in a tandem a trainer. It is a scene that is seen more and more as young
people try this once tiny minority sport.
There cannot be many places on
earth where parascenders enjoy such perfect views. The richness of the scenic
beauty here is immeasurable. Rolling hills to the west, golden beaches and the
sea front immediately below and the perfect, picture postcard Blue Ocean as far
as the eye can see to the east and the Philippines that lie some 600 miles
away. This is a paradise and one in which, the relatively new activity of
parascending seems perfectly at home. For as exciting as this sport is, nothing
is quite as exciting as nature when she gets her act so perfectly together.
