This journey covers the entire length of Vietnam, from the charm of capital Hanoi to the bustle of metropolis Saigon, explore Vietnam’s historic and scenic highlights in between including imperial Hue, ancient town of Hoi An, white sandy beach of Nha Trang, Mui Ne and much more.

VIETNAM CYCLING HOLIDAY

Hanoi - Halong Bay - Hue - Hoi An - Nha Trang - Phan Rang - Cana - HCMC - Cu Chi Tunnel - HCMC

 

Day 1: Hanoi arrival (D)

 

You are warmly welcomed by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Hanoi capital of Vietnam. Check in and relax after the long trip. Enjoy welcome dinner and attend the Water Puppet Show. Overnight in Hanoi.

 

Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/L)

 

Leave Hanoi at 8:00 for Halong Bay, on arrival at Halong city at about 11.30am, get on a private boat. Have seafood lunch on boat while the boat cruising caves, grottoes, floating villages and beaches. Stop to visit Surprise Caves, one of the biggest, nicest cave in Halong Bay. Finish cruise about 15.30pm. Drive back to Hanoi at 19:00.

 

Day 3: Hanoi - Hue - Cycling tour (30km) (B/L/D)

 

After have a breakfast, transfer to the flight go to Hue. In Hue, Morning transfer to Hotel and cycling for visiting in the Khai Dinh King Royal tomb, ThienMu Pagoda. Have lunch in restaurant. Have dinner and enjoy Vietnamese traditional folk song on boat on Perfume River. Overnight in Hue.

 

Day 4: Hue cycling (50km) (B/L)

 

Cycling through Hue's scenic countryside to the majestic Minh Mang King Royal tombs. A succession of Nguyen Dynasty Emperor built there grand tomb on a wide scale, scattered around the outlying hills of Hue and these two are wonderful examples. Return to the city. In the evening free to explore the giant, bustling riverfront market and other attraction of rest up for the next day's journey. Diversion can also be found in the hotel's swimming pool if the weather is cooperative or cyclone (predicable) ride. Overnight Hue.

 

Day 5: Hue - Hoi An (120km) (B/L)

 

Some of people in group will begin riding early in the morning while the rest of us will depart for the top of Hai Van pass by bus shortly after breakfast. Our route passes by rural villages and picturesque Lang Co lagoon, an ascent of the pass with stunning views of the coast and a thrilling 5-mile descent from the top of the green rice fields around DaNang, which we will skirt by on our way to HoiAn. Overnight in Hoian.

 

Day 6: Hoi An (30km) (B/L/D)

 

City tour of HoiAn - an ancient Japanese port of trade. Much of HoiAn's rare wooden architecture remain in this small, pleasant town. We will explore the legend pagodas, bustling riverfront marketplace and distinctive cuisine. Cycling to CuaDai beach. VietNamese cooking lessons in town featuring local specialties by one of VietNam's most talented chefs, or free time on your own for boat excursion on the river. Overnight in Hoian.

 

Day 7: Hoi An - Da Nang - Nha Trang (B/L)

 

After the breakfast, transfer to Danang, take flight to Nhatrang, in Nhatrang, cycling to VietNam's finest ocean front city. Have lunch in restaurant. Overnight in Nhatrang.

 

Day 8: NhaTrang to Phan Rang (125 km) asphalt road - Cana (B/L)

 

Morning after breakfast  cycling to  historic CamRanh bay then to PhanRang - location of large a Cham ruins, ThapCham, and most of remaining, original inhabitants of Vietnam. Continue cycling to Cana. Overnight in Cana.

 

Day 9: Cana to cycling (125 km, asphalt road) Mui Ne (B/L)

 

Cycling from Cana along the flat road to Mui Ne. You will feel the beauty of the sea. Have lunch in restaurant. Overnight in Mui Ne.

 

Day 10: Mui Ne - HCMC (B)

 

Have a breakfast, relax on beach, swimming. Have the lunch in your own. In the afternoon, transfer back to Saigon by private car. Overnight in SaiGon.

 

Day 11: HCMC - Tay Ninh - Cu Chi Tunnel (B/L)

 

Start the tour with the ornate temple of Cao Dai which is a combination of Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism and Confucianism. Then, attend the fantastic mid-day service together with the followers. After lunch, drive back and stop to visit Cuchi Tunnel system, the incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. From 1988, two sections of tunnels have been open for visitors. Back to HCMC.

 

Day 12: Departure (B)

 

Transfer to airport for your onward flight. End of service.
