HCMC - Mekong Delta - Cu Chi tunnels - Nha Trang - HCMC

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City

Greeting at your hotel in Saigon, you begin a half day visiting the bustling HCMC (formerly Saigon), the country's commercial center and home to a growing number of upscale restaurants and shops. Visit Chinatown, the Thien Hau Pagoda, the Reunification Palace, the Opera House and Hotel de Ville. If desired, also visit the moving War Remnants Museum. Explore colorful outdoor markets and Dong Khoi Street, the city's main shopping boulevard with shops. Overnight in HCMC.

Day 2: HCMC - Cai Be - Vinh Long - HCMC (B/L)

This morning you set off for a drive through the Mekong Delta to the town of Cai Be, well-known for its floating market. Here you take a boat trip to visit pottery factory and continue by boat to An Binh Island. Stop at the home of a Bonsai gardener for a sumptuous Delta lunch, including the popular dish of "Elephant Ear fish". Take a rowing boat through the canals to see bonsai garden before change to motor boat to homestay. At leisure to chat with your host or you can bike around the fruit gardens or simply walk around island to get in touch with villagers, monk in pagoda or school children. Rejoin your car in Vinh Long for transfer back to HCMC for overnight.

Day 3: HCMC - Cu Chi tunnels - Nha Trang (B)

In the morning you take a drive to Cu Chi Tunnels to visit the underground tunnel networks. At its height the tunnel system stretched over 250km. from Saigon to the Cambodian border and was three levels deep. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the U.S.-Vietnam War must have been like.

Transfer to Tan San Nhat airport for flight to Nha Trang. Pick up and ransfer to your resort in Nha Trang.

Day 4: Nha Trang (B/L)

You embark on a boat for a cruise on Nha Trang Bay, which is one of the most beautiful bays of the world. Our first stop is at the Tri Nguyen Aquarium. You then head out to Hon Mun Island where we have the chance for some swimming, snorkelling. Your next destination is Hon Tam Island where we can relax on the sandy beach. Have lunch at fishing village before boarding on our boat back to harbor and transfer to our hotel. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 5: Nha Trang (B)

Today is a free day at leisure in Nha Trang for relaxing and unwinding at the resort overlooking beautiful Bay. Snorkel or dive among the coral reefs in crystal blue waters, hike nature trails, cool off in your private plunge pool, indulge in spa treatments or just relax on the white sand beach and admire the unspoiled mountain and sea views. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 6: Nha Trang - HCMC (B)

Free. At leisure until transfer to Cam Ranh airport for flight back to HCMC airport for your departure flight. Cam on va chao tam biet.
