Tourists should not ignore Coc Ly Market in Sapa, Lao Cai - A special market in the Northwest Vietnam with its colourful ethnic people such as Flower Hmong, Phu La and Dao Tuyen who gathers to buy and sell. Sapa is not only famous for its beautiful landscape but also well known as culture destination that features would be easy to be found in Coc Ly market which takes place once a week on every Tuesday morning.

In the morning take a car to Coc Ly - about 70 km from Sapa - and join in Coc Ly hilltribe market. The market is located on the bank of Chay river. At the market, hilltribe people sell and purchasing daily life material, exchange farming experience and meet friends. You can buy meat and traditional clothes, radios and dishes, vegetables and knives - in short, everything. From Coc Ly market, take a boat ride along the river of Chay, enjoy sightseeing man and natural landscape long the river’s bank, short break to visit ethnic minorities Nung, H'Mong, and Dzao peoples on the way. Rejoin car back to Sapa.
