HCMC - Vinh Long - Can Tho - Chau Doc - My Tho - HCMC

Day 1: Saigon (HCMC) - Vinh Long - Can Tho (L)

Meet the guide at your hotel in HCMC then you drive through the Mekong Delta to the town of Vinh Long. Upon arrival take a boat trip cruising to visit brick & pottery factory, bonsai garden or orchard garden. Enjoy some Southern traditional music performed by the local people and a sumptuous Delta lunch, including the popular dish of 'Elephant ear fish'. Rejoin your car drive to the heart of Mekong Delta: Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 2: Can Tho (B)

After breakfast at hotel to enjoy take a boat trip to join in the Cai Rang Floating market. Here each boat usually sells one particular item, whether it is pumpkins, pineapples, sugar cane etc, and in order that the customer knows where to shop, they hang that item from the highest part of the boat. The afternoon is free so you may enjoy the most comfortable property in the Mekong Delta: Victoria Resort Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.

Option for Early birds: Sunrise Breakfast on the Lady Hau Cruise

06:30 AM: Enjoy breakfast on the "Lady Hau" while cruising to the floating market. When the "Lady Hau" arrives at Cai Rang floating market, guests are transferred to a local traditional boat to get inside the market. Then, continue cruising with the hotel's guide along narrow creeks to visit a noodle factory and an orchard. After sampling local fruits, our guide will escort the guests back to the hotel by local boat through the myriad of canals. (The time of Sunrise and Sunset may vary seasonally)

Day 3: Can Tho - Chau Doc (B)

Leave Can Tho for Chau Doc. This amazing journey takes us 4 hours to get there. Chau Doc town is situated right on the Basac River, close to the Cambodian border. Stop to visit the Bang Lang bird sanctuary, the incense stick village and the crocodile farm.

In the afternoon, you will take a sampan cruising to visit the floating fish farm and the Cham weaving village. Transfer heading up the Sam Mountain for a great sunset and a birds-eye view over the rice paddy fields toward Cambodia. You spend one night in Victoria Hotel Chau Doc.

Day 4: Chau Doc- HCMC (B)

Take your time to enjoy a buffet breakfast or finish the last pages of that novel before heading back to HCMC. Stop at the town of My Tho and take a boat trip to discover the 4 beautiful islets: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise. These evergreen islands among the Mekong River still remain unknown to many people. You will discover beautiful landscapes along the river and observe the typical Mekong delta rural life. Back to your hotel in HCMC. End of services.
