With the theme "Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development”,
next year’s event will honour Hue’s unique cultural and historical values
through artistic performance programmes.
In the framework of the festival, a range of programmes will be held,
including an Ao Dai fashion show, “Dem Hoang Cung” (Royal Night) and “Dem
Phuong Dong” (Orient Night) events, Royal Court music and dance performances
and traditional songs from Hue.
The festival will take place from April 12-20 and is expected to promote
the province’s socio-economic development and tourism potential.
The locality welcomed almost 1.5 million guests in the January-June
period, earning over 1.2 trillion VND (72 million USD) in revenue, which is
111.32 percent higher than the same period last year.
The province’s preset goal of 2.5 million tourists is likely to be met
soon as the number of visitors keeps rising.
