Hoan Kiem District has completed a project on turning the streets Hang Buom, Hang Giay, Luong Ngoc Quyen, Ma May, Dao Duy Tu and Ta Hien in the Hanoi ancient quarter into gastronomy streets to highlight Hanoi's special cuisine characteristics.

The statement was made by Do Xuan Thuy, director of the Dong Xuan Joint Stock Company.

Over the past time, the restaurants on the above streets have contributed to meeting the demand of tourists, especially foreign ones. However, these activities are without planning, resulting in problems with environmental hygiene and food security.

When the plan is carried out, Dong Xuan Joint Stock Company will provide skills improvement training courses for sellers and servers.
